Peterstone lakes is situated at the back of a Farm down the Lanes and the for shore road towards Newport. Although it is stuck out of the way Peterstone is one of the main Fishing venues for the Wales Carp Championship and The Carp Cup UK. There is a large parking area that is the central point to the complex. A Large hut with a small tackle shop also offering hot and colds refreshments. There are two small lakes to the side of the complex offering full coarse and carp fishing. They are stocked with a variety of specimen carp up to 10- 15 lb and Silver fish including Roach, Bream, Rudd, Barbel and of course Tench are also included up in the double figures in size. Then there is the Syndicate Lake, a very big lake with lots of features, that also offers Pike fishing in the winter with some HUGE Pike being caught by the local club members. This is a well laid out complex and caters for all levels of skill in fishing. |
